Chateau Feely is well worth a visit and just 35 minutes from the house:

Chateau Feely holds the prestigious ‘Best of Wine Tourism’ Gold award for Accommodation on a wine estate for 2017 and the prestigious ‘Best of Wine Tourism’ Gold award for our visits and sustainable tourism for 2013.

We went there in September 2013 and had a fine time with Caro Feely who is a bit of an evangelist about organic wines.

I’m delighted that they’ve won a certificate of excellence from TripAdvisor – well deserved.
